Michele Diodato: Jazz

Michele Diodato started her dance training at the age of three at Cheryl Rich Dance Studio. At 7-years-old, she started at the Amy Tyler School of Dance, and remained a student there for the next 11 years. During those years, her love of dance grew, and life-long friendships were formed. She also was a member of Harbor Ballet Theatre and performed in 10 Nutcracker productions ranging from roles such as Party Boy, Harlequin, Snow Soloist, Flower Soloist, and Flutes. While in high school, Michele attended Burklyn Ballet Theatre’s summer intensive in Vermont for two summers, performing in multiple shows.
After graduating high school, Michele attended Suffolk County Community College and received her Associate’s Degree in American Sign Language Studies. From there she attended LIU Post and then Molloy College where she received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Throughout her college years, Michele took dance and choreography classes. She’s gained experience in teaching tap, jazz, acro, and lyrical-jazz classes.
Michele is so excited to start her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and to be welcomed back to ATSD as a faculty member!
